A discussion of usless info I find laying around.

In response to a post on another blog I wrote this.

I've never seen my last name in a post before so I feel compelled to write a response. 2 points They will either hate us forever if we roll with the status quo of the past 30+ years or we can change tack. I believe you are saying the winds of hate blowing from the ME are against us. Well any good sailor would change tack in that situation. We have been gliding along on the winds of hatred going further and further off the course of peace since the Beirut attack against our marines. The Captain of that time said stay the course the winds will change. We continued on that course until the 1st WTC bombing, again the Captain said stay the course the winds will change. WTC attack on 9/11/2001 proved the winds were not going to change so our new Captain said tack right and we stared to move against that evil wind. Tacking is a slower more difficult process but gets us closer to our destination the island of a Constitutional Republic from which Democracy can be planted . We will have to wait to see if it can grow in this soil ravaged by the winds of evil but the shoots of young plants are beginning to show. Where there was no hope now there is much. The soil seems to grow richer each day and if these fields are left to the forces of natural law they will flourish into productive, happy areas that will spread the weed of hate no more.
I apploigize for the sapiness, mixed metaphors and length but got a wild hair.
