This ad is aimed at getting us to get the govt to buy his crap.

You have built a wonderful house. It has taken you years to slowly ad value and amenities. Is it really fair that others can’t live as nicely as you and share in the praise you receive for your accomplishment?

No it is not and therefore a system will be put in place to right this wrong. From now on you will trade housing for half the year with someone less fortunate. You both will continue to pay rent/mortgage on your original property but live in the others for 6 months of the year. This will have several advantages one being that since you built your own house you have the abilities to repair and add to the less fortunate person’s house while you live in it. In time all houses will achieve parity and the moving every 6 months will no longer be necessary. As an added bit of community service you will also get to repair the wear and tear on your original house during the time we let you stay at it.

I think as a nation we need to look at Immigrants as a father looks at potential suitors for his daughter.

You got a job/legal talent to support my angel?
Do you have any communicable diseases?
Are you gonna treat my angel with respect?
Can you articulate to me (yes in English even if broken) why I shouldn't just kick your ass out now?

My daughter may be enticed by your danger/diversity but I will judge you on your promise to do right by my angel. And also know the risk you will do wrong will have more weight than the promise you might do right.

When you have a daughter or country worth protecting you will get why I am such a prick in the rules for acceptance.

To all those politicians and pundits currently talking about pulling out of Iraq before it has been fully stabilized. I hope you can sleep at night if what you wish for happens. History tells us that many more innocents will die (it was in the millions in Vietnam and Cambodia) when American politicians wasted the sacrifice of our brave young men and cut funding to the South Vietnamese (they were holding there own even after our retreat). You have seen the news coming out of the M.E. if you think there is not a Pol Pot or communist party waiting in the wings ready to “reeducate” the population and history won’t repeat. Well then keep up the backbiting of every military decision made and keep up the feeding our enemies will to fight with resolutions of when we will leave. But if you want to be able to sleep at night and look your cute little grand children in the eyes and say truthfully “I did what was best”. Make the hard short term decisions that will weaken the enemies not the finger too the wind decision of popular public support. Take a hard look at recent and ancient history and you will find the answers that will shed the least amount of blood in the end even though it will cause some to be shed now. Our warriors (not a one that joined this volunteer force not knowing Iraq was the destination) are all in this to win it why can’t you be.
